About Design KG028
KG028 is a premium pre-designed wrap layout built specifically for the 2025-2026 Can-Am Maverick R MAX 4-seat platform. The design uses aggressive race-inspired line work that flows naturally with the R MAX bodywork from front fenders all the way through the extended cab and rear panels. Every cut is templated from OEM Can-Am body panels - no trimming, no guessing, no overlap. Sport, X rs, and Smart-Shox 4-seat trims all share the same body panels and use the same kit.
Roof Wrap - Add-On Upgrade
The base KG028 kit covers all major exterior body panels but does not include the roof. Matching roof wrap is available as a +$300 upgrade - select the roof variant when ordering, or contact us before checkout to have it added. The roof upgrade includes templated coverage for both hard top and canvas configurations, designed to match the KG028 body layout for a complete unified look.
Material & Adhesive
Built on premium 21mil cast vinyl with laminate overlay, using our exclusive Substance ultra-sticky adhesive - a material that performs roughly 5x better than standard 3M cast vinyl in adhesion strength, edge retention, and long-term durability. On a $40,000+ flagship UTV like the R MAX, the wrap material spec matters. Substance holds tighter to R-platform plastics, resists lifting at door edges and fender corners, and lasts longer in real-world riding conditions.
DIY Installation
Most R MAX owners install KG028 in 5 to 10 hours with the body panels removed and a clean workspace. The 4-seat chassis takes longer than 2-seat machines because of additional door panels and extended bedwork. Tools needed: heat gun, felt-edged squeegee, isopropyl alcohol at 90% or higher, clean microfiber towels, sharp utility knife, and patience. Detailed step-by-step instructions are included with every kit. Professional install from a vinyl wrap shop typically runs 4-6 hours and $400-$900 depending on your area.
Care & Lifespan
Treated right, KG028 lasts 3 to 5+ years under normal trail riding. Wash gently with mild soap and low-pressure water. Keep pressure washer wands at least 12 inches from the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals like degreasers, brake cleaner, or gasoline near the graphics. Store the R MAX out of direct sun when possible to extend wrap life.
