What This Collection Covers
This collection is built for the Can-Am Maverick R MAX 4-seat models in 2025 and 2026 model years. The R MAX is Can-Am's all-new flagship 4-seat platform, built on a completely redesigned R-platform chassis with the 999cc turbocharged Rotax triple-cylinder engine producing 240 horsepower. It is not a refresh of the older X3 MAX — it's an entirely new machine with new bodywork that requires its own wrap templates.
If you have an older X3 MAX (2017-2024) or a 2-seat Maverick R, those have different bodywork and different fitment. Use the cross-links above and below to jump to the correct collection for your machine.
The R MAX Difference // Why It Deserves Its Own Wraps
The Maverick R MAX represents a complete redesign of Can-Am's flagship UTV lineup. The R-platform chassis, the new Rotax 999cc turbo triple, the up-to-26-inch suspension travel with Smart-Shox technology, and the all-new bodywork combine to create a machine that performs and looks completely different from anything Can-Am has built before. Wraps designed for older platforms simply will not fit. Our R MAX templates are built specifically for this new chassis from the ground up.
The Substance Material Advantage
Most powersports wrap shops use standard 3M cast vinyl. We use Substance ultra-sticky vinyl — a premium adhesive material that performs roughly 5x better than 3M cast vinyl in adhesion strength, edge retention, and long-term durability. On a flagship machine like the R MAX that costs $40,000+, the wrap material spec matters. Substance holds tighter to the new R-platform plastics, resists lifting at door edges and fender corners through hard riding, and lasts longer than any 3M-based wrap on the market.
No other Can-Am Maverick R MAX wrap shop offers Substance. We're the only ones. When you order from KrazyGraphics, you're getting a material spec the rest of the powersports wrap industry doesn't have access to.
2025-2026 Trim Coverage
The Maverick R MAX is currently offered in several 4-seat trim configurations:
- R MAX Sport — base 4-seat trim with the standard R-platform chassis and 240hp Rotax engine
- R MAX X rs — long-travel suspension trim built for aggressive trail and dune riding
- R MAX Smart-Shox — Sport trim with Smart-Shox semi-active suspension
- R MAX X rs Smart-Shox — top-spec trim with both long-travel and Smart-Shox tech
All 4-seat trim levels share the same body panel templates. The same wrap kit fits a Sport, an X rs, or a Smart-Shox-equipped variant — the trim differences are mechanical/suspension, not body.
What's Included In a Complete R MAX Wrap Kit
A complete Can-Am Maverick R MAX wrap kit covers every visible exterior body panel:
- Front fenders (left and right)
- Hood with vent surrounds
- Front doors (driver and passenger)
- Rear doors (driver and passenger sides — 4-seat specific)
- Front rear fenders
- Rear rear fenders
- Bedside panels
- Fuel tank cover
- A-pillars, B-pillars, C-pillars
- Roof inserts for hard tops or canvas
The 4-seat R MAX has significantly more panel surface area than a 2-seat machine because of the extended cab and second row of doors. Optional add-ons include cage tube wraps, dashboard inserts, custom number plates, sponsor logo placement, and matching trim accents.
Pre-Designed, Semi-Custom & Full Custom
Pre-designed R MAX kits ship fast in a wide range of styles — race-inspired layouts, blackout stealth designs, retro Can-Am yellow heritage looks, military and tactical schemes, neon dune sport designs, mud-runner camo, and modern color blocking. Semi-custom lets you swap colors, change accent elements, and add your name or race number to a base template. Full custom is for R MAX owners who want something nobody else has — sponsored team builds, dune-specific designs, race-prepped layouts, or one-of-a-kind visions. Full custom includes free design proofs and unlimited revisions until you're 100% satisfied.
How Long Does R MAX Installation Take?
Most Maverick R MAX owners install their own wrap kits in 5 to 10 hours with the body panels removed and a clean workspace. The 4-seat chassis takes longer than 2-seat machines because of the additional door panels and extended bedwork. Tools needed: heat gun, felt-edged squeegee, isopropyl alcohol at 90% or higher, clean microfiber towels, sharp utility knife, and patience. Remove the body panels from the R MAX before installing — never wrap them while still mounted on the machine. Detailed step-by-step instructions are included with every kit. If DIY isn't your thing, most professional vinyl wrap shops can install a complete R MAX kit in 4-6 hours for $400-$900 depending on your area.
Pricing Range
Maverick R MAX wrap kits typically run from around $399 for a partial-coverage budget kit up to $1,099+ for a fully custom premium 21mil cast vinyl design with extensive personalization, full panel coverage, and add-on accents. The 4-seat R MAX is priced higher than 2-seat kits because of the additional surface area on the extended cab. Compared to a custom paint job for an R MAX — typically $5,000 to $12,000+ plus weeks of body shop downtime — a wrap delivers comparable visual impact at a fraction of the cost.
Why Wraps Beat Paint on a $40,000+ R MAX
R MAX owners who choose wraps over paint do so for four reasons: (1) cost — a wrap is typically 1/8 the price of a paint job on a 4-seat, (2) reversibility — the wrap comes off cleanly when you want to change direction or sell the machine (which protects resale on a $40,000+ unit), (3) protection — the factory plastics underneath stay shielded from UV, scratches, and rock chips during the time the wrap is installed, and (4) speed — a wrap installs in an afternoon vs weeks of paint shop downtime keeping a flagship machine off the trail.
Caring For Your R MAX Wrap
A quality 21mil laminated wrap on a Maverick R MAX should last 3-5+ years even with hard riding. Wash gently with mild soap and low-pressure water. Keep pressure washer wands at least 12 inches from the surface and use wide spray patterns. Avoid harsh chemicals like degreasers, brake cleaner, gasoline, or solvents anywhere near the graphics. Touch up any lifting edges early with a heat gun before they tear or catch on terrain.
