Who Actually Owns Your Custom Ryker Wrap Design?

Short answer: we do — unless you tell us otherwise. Here's exactly how design ownership works when you order a custom Can-Am Ryker wrap from KrazyGraphics, and how to make sure your design is never sold to another rider.

Every custom wrap we build starts the same way: you send us your ideas, colors, theme, or inspiration, and our designer turns that into original artwork made specifically for your Ryker. That design work isn't free on our end — we pay our designer real money to build it, proof it, and revise it until you approve it. What a lot of customers don't realize is what happens to that artwork after the sale.

The Default: We Design It, We Own It

Unless you've paid for exclusive rights (more on that below), every custom design KrazyGraphics creates remains our property, not the customer's. The design fee you pay covers our designer's time and the work of building your concept — it does not transfer ownership of the finished artwork to you.

In practice, that means a standard custom design may:

• Be featured in our photo gallery as an example of our work
• Be used in our marketing, social media, or ad campaigns
• Be reused or resold to another customer who wants a similar look
• Be offered as a template for future orders

If you want a guarantee that your design will never be sold, reused, or handed to another rider, you can purchase exclusive rights for an additional $900 on top of your standard design and coverage pricing. Once that fee is paid and confirmed, your design is retired from our library permanently — it's yours, and yours alone.

How To Request Exclusivity

Exclusivity isn't automatic, and it isn't something we can apply retroactively after a design is already in production. If you want it, email us before placing your custom order so we can confirm the $900 fee and get it in writing before design work begins. Orders placed without that agreement are understood to be standard custom orders, and the design remains KrazyGraphics property under the terms above.

Why We Do It This Way

Custom design time is real, paid labor — not a freebie that comes bundled with a vinyl kit. Keeping default ownership in-house lets us keep our base design fee reasonable instead of pricing every single order as if it were a fully exclusive commission. Riders who don't care about exclusivity get an affordable custom wrap. Riders who do care get a clear, simple way to lock it down.
